Gibco is part of Life Technologies, and is a leader in cell cultures for scientific research. In fact, they obsess about each single cell - because they know that an organism measured in nanograms can impact the entire planet. Their message: science is never about compromise.

In this campaign, Pick Up Stix went from promoting freshness (a category sell), to featuring their own unique flavors. Their dishes do actually have a distinctive personality, as the work attempts to show.

Ivy Entertainment promotes musical performers, dancers, artists and anything else that makes nightclubs hip. In this universe of “What’s cool today?”, the Ivy brand is about bringing the right attitude and tone to their featured performers on a weekly basis.

Bourbon is a straight-up kind of drink for straight-up kind of guys. Bulleit Bourbon, founded by the Bulleit family in the hills of Kentucky over a century ago, is even more so. We simply put this “no-BS” philosophy into a literary form any bourbon drinker can appreciate: the Bulleit toast.

Life Technologies knows that a single cell can make a difference in science. We thought it could in advertising, too. This campaign for their Gibco brand features the introduction of a new business proposition: now you can buy cells without paying royalties.

CROSSFIT

Each year, thousands of CrossFit gyms across the world come together for the CrossFit Games, co-sponsored by Reebok. Just know that “games” is a misnomer for what may be the most grueling physical contests ever staged. The massive airport sign and unique “jingle” make that attitude fairly clear.

The composition and lyrics for the song were done in-house.

A good friend of ours at Harley Davidson felt that some of the brand equity was starting to fade. As part of an internal exploration, we were asked to capture the Harley “mystique” as we see it. Well, this is how we see it.

REDBRICK PIZZA

We coined the words “The New Italian” because Redbrick Pizza does things a little differently. For one, they cook a traditional Italian pizza at 1000 degrees (about 400 hotter than anyone else). The result is a great pizza, and a campaign that brings this difference to your attention.

The music for this spot was composed entirely in-house.

HOW WE DO DIGITALLike this site, everything we do happens in-house. The same team that strategizes and conceives your site, also designs and builds it. In our minds, this is a truly "integrated" approach. Since we don't rely on partners, divide ourselves into departments, or send the work to India, we can ensure things like purity of concept, collaborative design, flawless programming and overall quality control.

MCASDBecause a museum is a never-ending series of new exhibitions, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego needed to easily management their content while retaining design consistency and flow. Our solution was a modular design that accommodates a variety of posting formats, and implementation of the open-source Wordpress platform as full-on CMS solution.

SDHSThis design captures the San Diego Historical Society aesthetics, but also accommodates long text blocks and easy-to-read vertical columns. An online event registration and membership signup section was implemented to automate the process, along with stable server-side programming and scaleability.

BURTON STUDIOBurton’s portfolio is managed using their Flickr Pro account. Here's a good example of an API integration that syncs the website to reflect the content of their Flickr account.

BREADTRUCK FILMSBreadtruck Films writes, directs and produces award-winning documentaries and films. The point of the site was simply to gain further awareness and give their growing audience a place to see the breadth of their work. A film showcase and blog section are the main features. .
